Mornington -

I'm trying not to be a perfectionist.
I'll post these up now, because otherwise they will never go up and will disappear into nothingness in my hard drive.

∞

I used to think home and everyone I loved was just beyond the horizon.

Retail Therapy? Check.

If shopping malls needed to make profits, the easiest way would be to make shoppers deliriously happy.
Then wallets will open and cash will flow.

Light hearts make happy people.

End of October will tell all.
Please, please, please.

Impulse purchases - but laden with so many complimentary gifts!

Pre and post-biomed ball

Biomed ball accommodation.
Wanted to take photos at 2am, but I was so tired after I fell asleep within minutes.

I was half-starved when I woke up, so W and I headed to Degraves Street for breakfast.
This place was so well-lit, warm and cozy.

Experiments

I wanted to make it flash at the same time so the petals came out transparent.
But it didn't work.

Out the window

It's all just perspective, is it not?

Places to go

Last month, W visited Sydney for a short trip and brought me back goodies!
I love receiving postcards. That macaron was divine.

Time to explore Sydneyyy.

Elixir of Life

Much desired product, finally in my hands.

'30 mL for over $60,' I realised as I was applying this the other day and the word 'elixir' jumped, unbidden, into my mind.
Two drops per night. I think it's working wonders.

Tea for two

Or rather... three.

This much anticipated trip to the Dandenong Ranges meant once again visiting 'the tea place'.
(I know how to get there, I know what it looks like, I just have no idea what it's called. I even tried googling it.)

I used to always associate tea with 'old people'. I was 100%, a coffee person.

Well, look who's getting old.

Adorable teapots, tea cups and salt and pepper shakers.

We then headed to Cloudehill - a nursery, garden and restaurant.
The owners are lovely people, and I love the intimacy of their restaurant.

Despite not getting my way and not eating scones with jam and cream at Miss Maple, I enjoyed this outing immensely. Solo driving is much, much sweeter than I ever imagined. I've been warned that it fades, but for now, I will revel in my newfound freedom.

At Whim

I'd dreamt of wandering around the city by myself throughout July, but only really fulfilled this at the very end due to an unexpected phone call.

Colour Gradient

I should've kept my camera by my side during the entire exam period.

exam snaps

One whole month of studying.
Finally over.

Lens is still dirty. I thought to clean it with one of the makeup brushes I don't use often seeing as it's soft, but I somehow don't think it's a good idea...

On the first day of holidays, I ticked off so many to dos.
Woke up early, went on a walk, caught up with W, helped with housework, cleaned my room and made a new bookshelf and desk. Productivity skyrocketed.

In comparison, I feel as though the past two days have gone to waste.
It's time to deviate from movies and dramas and return to reality.

心想事成。

That's what it says on the apple my mum bought from one of the Asian grocery stores in Glen Waverley.
The other apple said: 恭喜發財, but my dad and brother ate it before I could take a photo of it.

Wonder who thought of the idea of delivering well wishes and greetings on an apple.
These apples taste amazing.
